Learning
Learning is an awesome experience in Thriving Treasures Schools. We employ a variety of strategies and measures to ensure that what the children learn is real, reliable and livable for the children; hence our slogan “learning for living”.
We create an environment that helps children develop interest in learning.
Primary:
Using an interesting ingenious blend of American, British and the Nigerian curriculums, we’ve worked to create content that prepares your child for the realities of life and a future beyond the four walls of a classroom.
Our children are trained to read fluently, to express themselves confidently and accurately, and to apply what they learn in the classroom in real life.
We leverage technology, and through a robust ICT program, teach our children to do the same.
Extra-curricular:
From club activities, to carefully selected games and events, we step outside the academic content to help our children develop their inter-personal skills, learn through play, and keep fit, among other things.
Creativity:
Our team of educative staff is well-trained to help children step out of the box, exploring their own creativity and expressing it confidently. From art to science, we deploy every tool available at the level of the children to help them articulate their ideas and understanding of the content they learn everyday.
Baby Learning:
We use modern methods and training materials to help our babies learn life skills (like talking, reading, potty training etc.) early. The fun-learning system is set up to make sure that they develop social, motor and psychomotor skills at the same time in an environment that is comfortable, secure and engaging.
We introduce the children to their letters, numbers and phonics with a lot of fun activities in readiness for the development of their reading skills. We also use colorful books to attract the children, helping them to develop an early interest in reading
